Environment Protection
The goals of HSE management are intrinsically linked to the Group’s development strategy. Enhanced environmental responsibility is one of the main goals of the KNGP VORTEX GAS, TOO Strategy-2030. The group’s top concerns for environmental protection are reducing greenhouse gas emissions and flaring, managing water resources, cutting down on production waste, reclaiming land, and consuming less energy. The “Environmental Policy” was accepted in line with the Strategy’s objectives. KNGP VORTEX GAS, TOO, along with its affiliates and subsidiaries, has a zero tolerance policy for losses and damages resulting from environmental pollution.
The new Environmental Policy came into effect in 2021. In order to comply with the new Environmental Code, the KNGP VORTEX GAS, TOO Environmental Policy has been updated to ensure the gathering, accumulating, storing, analyzing, and transmission of environmental data. The obligations under the TOO and KNGP VORTEX GAS for the responsible use of natural resources and observance of conservation measures were also broadened. Based on top management’s dedication to occupational health and safety, the KNGP VORTEX GAS, TOO Health and Safety Policy promotes employee involvement in the development of a safety culture.
Safety & Loss Prevention
Safety is ingrained in every step of the refining process and is a requirement for employment for both contractors and employees. The refinery is adamant that mishaps and injuries are preventable, and it understands the critical role that superior safety practises play in fostering sustained business success. KNGP VORTEX GAS, TOO uses a thorough strategy that tackles all HSE, EH, and QAE issues in order to prevent losses (HSEQ). Encouraging genuine concern and care among all employees is crucial to promoting an Incident and Injury-free (IIF) working culture at KNGP VORTEX GAS, TOO. Additionally, workers and contractors can voice concerns about safety through routine meetings with senior management.

Process Safety
